Comm1 has been tested under Windows VISTA, Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit versions and it has been found to be compatible.
Please follow these instructions to install Comm1 IFR/Clearances on Request on Windows 7 and Windows VISTA:
When you insert the CD-ROM on your computer, you probably get a window on the middle of the screen that has the title "AutoPlay" if you choose the default setting, you will get either a blue screen with a musical note and audio playing or a Comm1 banner. This happens on Windows 7 and Windows Vista operating systems.
On the "AutoPlay" screen, select the last option, the one that reads "Open Folder To View Files". A new window will open with a list of files. Find the one that reads "setup.exe" and double click on it. Follow the installation instructions to install the Comm1 program. You will probably be asked to install the Quick time player, DO NOT INSTALL IT. Instead install the Quicktime player from this link if you don't have it already installed on your system: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
